This course is aimed at members of the VOICES team and Expert Citizens C.I.C. to provide awareness of Community Organising and Social Action.

The online course is set over four dates:

17th and 24th September 2020 and 1st and 8th October 2020

10.30am-12.30pm

This course is facilitated by All the Small Things C.I.C. and is endorsed as quality training by ABC Awards and as Continuing Professional Development by CPD. All participants receive a Certificate of Participation.

During this course you will explore:

• what community organising is
• the importance of listening to build relationships and uncover issues
• power in communities and why it matters
• how to motivate people to take action
• how to take your next steps in community organising & social action

Follow up mentoring for Community Organising Practice will be available, as part of the Community Development learning programme through VOICES.
