An Introduction to Psychologically Informed Environments

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the concept and implementation of a psychologically informed environment (PIE). PIE is an approach to supporting people out of chronic homelessness, in particular those who have expereinced childhood trauma such as abuse or negelect. You will learn:
- Why and how to become a PIE
- The benefits for staff, the organisation and the people that you support
- The 5 key elements and how your organisation can implement them
- The importance of regular refelctive practice and support for staff
- How to start your PIE action plan and measure its impact
