Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, GB, ST1 3AE

Overview

To explore the implications of the Care Act 2014 for people with multiple and complex needs. The workshop will look at:

  • What kind of support is covered?

  • Who is eligible?

  • How should commissioners, service managers and practitioners respond to these changes?

Drawing on VOICES’ experience and progress to date in securing assessment and support under the Care Act, we will introduce the Multiple Needs Care Act Toolkit. The Toolkit is an inter-professional training aid’ which is designed to help people with multiple needs and their support networks to articulate their circumstances in the context of the Care Act 2014.
