To explore the implications of the Care Act 2014 for people with multiple and complex needs. The workshop will look at:

  • What kind of support is covered?

  • Who is eligible?

  • How should commissioners, service managers and practitioners respond to these changes?

Drawing on VOICES’ experience and progress to date in securing assessment and support under the Care Act, we will introduce the Multiple Needs Care Act Toolkit.
